Sleep is a critical function for sustaining life. Improving our sleeping patterns comes down to three key things; quality, quantity and consistency. Blue light emitted from screens e.g., tv, phone, tablet, etc., disrupts our bodies from producing melatonin, a hormone that signals to our bodies it’s time to get ready for bed. One way to limit blue light after dark is to enable color filters on our phones. With this shortcut enabled you will now be able to toggle between “day mode” and “night mode” with just three clicks of the single button on the right side of your iphone.
The instructions for an iphone are listed below.
Steps:
Go to the setting menu
Within the settings menu select “accessibility”
Scroll towards the bottoms and select “accessibility shortcut”
Choose “color filters”
Go back into the “accessibility” menu
Select “display and text sizes”
Turn “color filters” on
Within “color filters” select “color tint” and slide the scale to your desired tint.
